Yesterday, September 6th, the entire fashion industry celebrated FASHION’S NIGHT OUT, a global event sponsored by Vogue and the Council of Fashion Designers of America. In Boston the event was organized in collaboration with the Newbury Street League, and yesterday night I had the pleasure to work for them as one of the photographers for the night. My zone was A to D 🙂 (if you don’t live in Boston, or you’re not a keen observer, you may not know that the streets that cross Newbury are lined up in alphabetical order).
So, together with my friend/assistant for the night Jennifer :), I walked Newbury to take photos. The night was splendid (like a British would say): a perfect weather, a stylish crowd (who says that Bostonians don’t dress fashionably? :)), and many, many events going on on the street (trunk shows, bands performing, giveaways, photographic boots, displays and exhibitions etc. etc.).
I’ll add a link to the Newbury Street League page if/when they’ll upload online the pictures that I took – for now, enjoy a preview of the pictures on this post. And, not to forget, THANKS TO ALL THE SHOP OWNERS AND DESIGNERS that I met yesterday, for showing me their stores and collections and for posing for me! 🙂
